ANNUAL CONFERENCE

HOLIDAY INN PEWAUKEE

Post-Acute and Long-Term Care conference for physicians, medical directors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health care professionals. 

Join us Thursday and Friday for a great lineup of speakers.  We are excited to be offering this conference in-person or online. 

For those joining us live, we will have great networking, and lunch will be provided.  

Participants can join us online through zoom where you will see the power points and hear the speaker.  Conference recordings will not be able. 

Registration will open in May 2023.

Keynote Speaker:  Dan Haimowitz, MD, CMD, as the keynote speaker. He will present Qwazy about QAPI, and medical care/leadership/issues in ALFs. 


More information will come over the spring.  Contact Melissa@WAMD.org to submit educational program topics and speakers that would meet ACCME requirements for accredited CME, CMD, ABIM MOC education.

  • Full conference $299 Members / $349 for Non-Members
  • Single Day $149 Members / Non-Members
  • DNP/APNP Student-in-Training are Free to those looking to pursue a career in PALTC
  • Physician-in-training Free to those looking to pursue a career in PALTC

Education Credits

Wis-PALTCM will apply for CME, ABIM MOC and CMD credits through AMDA's joint provider program. This education has not been submitted.   

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

The fall conference brings together physicians, medical directors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants from across Wisconsin.  Our typical attendance is between 40-50 attendees.  We also opened attendance to virtual attendees.  We are following ACCME guidelines for exhibitors that requires attendees agree to provide their name and contact information on released attendee lists.  However, you are free to contact any attendee that provides you their contact information during the exhibit.  

The cost of the exhibit is $300. Please register using the link BELOW.  Space is limited to FIVE exhibitors.

Exhibitors are provided a 8 foot skirted table, two chairs and up-to, two lunches.  

Sponsorship opportunity are available to host our Thursday night networking event, Friday breakfast speaker, Registration Sponsor, and others.  Please contact Melissa@WAMD.org for sponsorship opportunities. 

No refund is provided for cancellations within 60 days of the conference start.  Please contact Melissa@WAMD.org with questions or cancellation requests. A $30 cancellation charge will be deducted from refunds that are requested prior to the 60 day cutoff.
